Where are you?

Welcome to your future team. As a Full-Stack Developer (employee or freelancer) you will become an indispensable link in our Incubation team headed by Nicolas Chalon.

What you'll be doing

As Full-Stack developer with strong active knowledge in AWS PaaS, you will contribute to various projects. The first challenge will be to bring to life a service for the banking community related to fraud with 99.99% uptime requirement. Besides high-quality delivery, testing and build automation, you highly value autonomy and willingness to learn.

You should be able to demonstrate relevant knowledge & experience on the following skills:

• GIT distributed Version Control System
• GitLab continuous Integration & Delivery
• Web-application frameworks (Ruby on Rails would be ideal)
• UI development technologies (JS, HTML, CSS)
• ORM, RDBMS and NoSQL databases
• Docker container tool
• API based services
• Active knowledge of AWS (ECS, Lambdas, API GateWay, VCS, Security groups, ...)
• Shell scripting
• Agile thinking
• Infrastructure as code
• Clear communicator (in English; knowledge of Dutch/French is a plus) and can-do attitude

Desired skills:

• Working on time critical systems (99.99%)
• TerraForm or equivalent is a plus
• Plausible or equivalent is a plus
• Sentry or equivalent is a plus
• Good understanding of public/private keys and certificates
• Automated UI / End to end testing
• Ability to work on different projects at the same time while keeping up with agreed deliveries
• Experience in Ruby and / or Python
